Jason Morales – son of legendary bass singer, Armond Morales – was born in Glendale, California in March of 1972.  After finishing high school he joined The Imperials as sound engineer and held that position for eight years.  In 1998 he took a leave of absence for one year to be mentored under David Horton Ministries in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  During that time he met and fell in love with his future wife-to-be, Erin.  Jason and Erin were married 10 months later in the summer of 1999.  Jason and Erin are now the proud parents of Madeline and Isabel who said ‘hello’ on August 27, 2003 and June 13, 2007.

In August of 1999, the baritone part became available with The Imperials.  Even though he had never sung or performed as a professional singer, Jason went to his father and asked to fill that part.  Armond saw God’s hand in it and hired him.  Jason has proved to be an excellent baritone singer with many of the same smooth tones that made his father famous.  Jason is an ordained minister under the covering of Bethel Christian Center of Riverside, California.

The honor and responsibility of helping to lead The Imperials forward is something that Jason accepts with gratefulness and humility. ‘‘In following in my dad’s footsteps,’’ he says, ‘‘I want to make him proud, but most of all, I want to please my Heavenly Father.”
